El IPA lanza el Primer Concurso Fotográfico Escolar "Celebrando el Agua"
En el marco del Día Mundial y Día Nacional del Agua se promueve la participación juvenil respondiendo con una foto la pregunta ¿Qué representa el Agua para vos?

 

El concurso “Celebramos el Agua” busca que los y las jóvenes respondan la pregunta "¿Qué representa el Agua para vos?" a través de una fotografía de autoría propia. Esa interrogante corresponde a uno de los lemas oficiales del Día Mundial del Agua propuesto por Naciones Unidas para este año 2021.

A través de la expresión artística y comunicativa que representa la fotografía, el concurso promueve la participación activa de estudiantes de nivel secundario en la toma de conciencia y la divulgación sobre la fragilidad e importancia que tiene el recurso Agua para la vida cotidiana de las personas.

En este tema, Argentina es un país precursor, debido a que desde el año 1970 se celebra el Día Nacional del Agua cada 31 de marzo, luego de que la Resolución N°1630 de ese año tuviera como uno de sus objetivos la necesidad de “estimular a todos los habitantes de la Nación a la responsabilidad en el uso de los recursos hídricos del país, así como a un mayor conocimiento y la conservación a conciencia de los mismos”. Un par de décadas después, en 1993, se comienza a celebrar el Día Mundial del Agua, luego de que las Naciones Unidas considerarán necesario establecer una jornada en el año para crear acciones que promovieran el cuidado, una mejor gestión y un mayor respeto por el recurso hídrico en todos los rincones del planeta.

Por tal motivo, desde el IPA se plantea que la mejor manera de crear conciencia sobre este valioso recurso es a través de los y las estudiantes del nivel secundario, debido a que son ellos el presente y el futuro de nuestro territorio y sus miradas y concepciones sobre el cuidado del Agua pueden repercutir en cada habitante de la Provincia.

La presentación de fotografías se extenderá hasta el 28 de mayo, y quienes deseen participar deberán hacerlo a través de la Escuela a la que asisten donde allí se les asesorará con un formulario de inscripción on-line.

El concurso tendrá premios tanto para estudiantes del Ciclo Básico como del Ciclo Orientado, los cuáles serán otorgados luego de que las producciones sean evaluadas por un jurado conformado por personal del Instituto Provincial del Agua y del Ministerio de Educación. También habrá premios para las Escuelas y se sumará un premio extra a través de la votación popular de las fotografías que se expondrán en las redes sociales oficiales del IPA para que la población pueda apreciar el trabajo de quienes participaron y elegir a su foto favorita con una reacción positiva (“me gusta”).

La premiación se realizará el 7 de junio, siendo así una primera parte del año en donde se buscará fomentar en las Escuelas la Cultura del Agua que pretende crear conciencia sobre el uso y gestión de este recurso en cada ámbito de la vida cotidiana.
